There is just a little over 24 hours left to submit any outstanding pinch hits. These stories should be posted at AO3 no later than Wednesday, August 27 at 11:59pm EDT with NO EXCEPTIONS.

You will have time to edit for grammar/spelling/formatting/etc. between this date and the opening of the archive which is Friday, August 29 at 7:00pm EDT, but we will not be extending the deadline any further.

The deadline for fics to be submitted is fast approaching, it's 11:59 EDT today (find out when that is where you live at this link).

As of right now, we are planning on opening the archive on August 22 at 6:00 p.m. EDT, so you will have time to make edits and revisions between and now and then. (And last minute pinch hitters will have that time to write and submit their stories.)

We currently have one open pinch hit which is available to view here.

That pinch hit has been claimed, but this one is now available in its place.

Clarification on Treats & Fics Under 1000 words

We got a question in our inbox about writing extra fics for participants that are UNDER the minimum word count of 1000 words. We are 100% okay if you want to do that for your recipient or any other participant. You may post them to the main collection (as we don't think the size of the challenge this year warrants a separate collection), and please tag or label them as a "Crossovering Treat" somewhere.

We will be checking all assignments to make sure everyone has a fic that meets the word count requirements before we open the archive, so having extra fics that are under 1000 words will not affect anything.
