Assignments have been sent! You should receive an email from AO3 with your assignment details. Your assignment will also be listed on your Assignments page, which you can locate by going to your AO3 profile (http://archiveofourown.org/users/your_username_here) and clicking on "Assignments" in the left column.

We have 5 initial pinch hits. You can view these here. If you are not a member of the pinch hit list, you can go to this link and click join, or you can send a blank e-mail to crossovering-ph+subscribe@googlegroups.com. Make sure you have your preferences set to Send me an e-mail for every new message.

Pinch Hits are open to anyone—exchange participant or not—and are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The Requests Summary will remain open throughout the creation period. Participants and nonparticipants are welcome to choose from among the prompts to create treats. Treats do not have any minimum requirements and should be tagged as Crossovering Treat when posted to the archive.

Now that assignments have been sent, all letters should be unlocked so that artists and authors can see their recipients requests. If your recipient still has a placeholder or has not unlocked their letter, please let us know, and we will contact them.

You should match to your recipient on the following:

2+ fandoms in (at least) one request

Art or fic preference

Crossover or fusion preference

If for some reason you have received an assignment for something you did not offer, please make sure you contact us immediately so we can fix the problem.

As a reminder, these are the requirements for gifts:

Art: At minimum, a participant may submit detailed line art. The art cannot be on lined paper, but it can be traditional or digital art. Minimum size of art should be 500,000 pixels. (Examples of dimensions include 710 x 710; 500 x 1000; and 960x540.) Art should feature 2+ canons requested by the recipient.

Fic: Fic must be a minimum of 1,000 words and must be complete. It must also use at least two of the fandoms your recipient requested in a prominent way.

More details regarding assignments are available in our FAQ, but please remember the following:

Assignments are due no later than 11:55 PM PDT on October 2. If you have not uploaded your comp;eted assignment by that time, we will consider you in default and assign a pinch hitter to your recipient.

To upload your assignment, go to your Assignments page and click on the button that says Fulfill.

If you are unable to finish your assignment, please go to your Assignments page and click Default at your earliest convenience so we can find a pinch hitter.

Beta readers are not required, but they are strongly encouraged. This year's beta readers post is here.

You can create multiple gifts for your recipient, but at least one of them must fulfill the art or fic requirements of this exchange. You may also create treats for any other participant in the exchange. Just make sure you use this link to post to the collection.

Please do not contact your recipient prior to author reveals. If you need additional information, contact the mods and we will act as your proxy.
